From the Hive to the Heart of the City: Our Taste of Cincinnati Debut

The week leading up to Taste of Cincinnati felt a lot like the final month of pregnancy. You’ve still got a to-do list a mile long, but emotionally? Mentally? You’re done. You’re ready. You just want this baby to arrive already. And then — the big day finally comes. Suddenly, you're in the moment, and the exhaustion fades into awe.

This event is massive. I hadn’t really paused to think about just how much goes into making Taste of Cincinnati happen. The Cincinnati Regional Chamber and their incredible events team pull off an enormous feat — and behind every booth is a small business owner pouring their heart, soul, and best recipes into the experience. It’s electric. It’s overwhelming. And it’s something I’ll never forget.

Being part of Taste of Cincinnati this year was an honor. It pushed me further than I thought I could go, both personally and professionally. It reminded me just how much I'm capable of — and how much more I want to create, build, and share. That realization fits beautifully into the way I’ve chosen to live for the past couple of decades (but that’s a story for another blog post!)

So now, with sticky hands, tired feet, and a full heart, I want to say thank you:

🧡 To the Cincinnati Regional Chamber – thank you for inviting Laughing Bees to be part of something so special.

🐝 To the customers who came looking for us – your tenacity means the world to me.

🍯 To the folks who found us by happy accident – I hope your sweet tooth is still smiling.

🛠️ To everyone who helped me navigate the logistics of such a big event – thank you for helping me stay grounded and on track.

👯‍♀️ To my amazing friends and family – you packed, schlepped, taste-tested, reassured, and cheered me on every step of the way. I could not have done this without you.

This was the biggest event Laughing Bees has ever taken part in — and thanks to your support, it won’t be the last — I plan to be at Taste and other big events in the future.

Until next time, stay sweet.
